Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Sausage and Bean Bake...
Apologies for camera shake, I was a little hungry! |
Apart from a packet of sausages (I cut them into smaller chunks) and an onion, this is all the ingredients you need:
Chopped tomatoes, kidney beans in chilli sauce, Worcestershire sauce and a little extra chili |
Once reduced, transfer it to an ovenproof dish, cover with frozen potato wedges and pop in the oven (200°C) for 20 minutes. After which time you should have something like this...
Ta-daa! |
...and serve, however you choose. See, stupidly easy, as I said earlier.
Now, Miss D eats anything, but Miss L can be a bit fussy sometimes and she doesn't really like potato wedges, so from time to time, rather than serving with wedges, I serve with her favourite mashed potato with pesto stirred into it. So it's nice and versatile too.
So that was our dinner tonight :-)
Sounds like a great recipe! I love anything with beans in, I find that they fill me up and they're nice and healthy.

I agree, but Miss L will insist on picking all of the kidney beans out x
