Celebrating Wednesday's #21

So this is the first Wednesday that I've celebrated for quite some time. It's been lovely taking a break from the blog, but I must confess I have quite missed our Wednesday celebrations.

Would you believe it, there were nine, yes nine celebrations to choose from today. I was tempted by a few, Help a Horse Day, Stationery Day because who doesn't love an excuse to covet yet more unneeded stationery? However, there was one celebration that really caught my eye and appealed to my sometimes random sense of humour, and so without further ado, I present to you...

...Hug an Australian Day!

Yes today, for reasons unknown to me, we really are celebrating by hugging an Australian. I apologise because I will not be partaking in this celebration, since to my knowledge, I have no Australian friends. However, I will endeavour to find at least one before 26th April 2018 so that I too can partake in the hugging of an Aussie. For those of you who do have an Aussie partner, or friend, hug away; unless of course they are looking a little uncomfortable, in which case you must cease hugging immediately, or risk losing your pal and gaining a reputation for harassing antipodeans, which is definitely not a good thing.

If your friend isn't the sort who likes a hug, you could treat them to drink after work (who in their right mind is going to turn down a free drink)...go on make them feel special today. And just before I end, what a great excuse to share some pictures of some cute native Australians.
