Celebrating Wednesday's #22

Yes believe it or not, it is indeed Wednesday again. I don't know about you, but whilst I love a bank holiday, they play havoc with the rest of the week. Since Easter, I've not had a clue what day it is, but I am assured that today is indeed Wednesday, and so here I am with this week's celebration.

So get yourself ready to celebrate...

...Two Different Coloured Shoes Day.

Now, this celebration, did initially cause my head to go just a little crazier than it normally is. The thought of wearing different coloured shoes just doesn't fit well with me. Perhaps I'm over thinking it, but it's not just a case of the shoes being a different colour that messes with my head, but being a girl, one has to consider heel height too; imagine having one heel slightly higher than the other? Not a good look ladies and you would probably need to carry out a full risk assessment before even considering it!

However, reading on a little, I discovered it's really not about the shoes, but is indeed a celebration of our differences because let's be honest, if we were all the same it would be a pretty darn boring world wouldn't it? So a rather super lady named Arlene Kaiser started this fabulous celebration. To learn more why not visit the National Two Different Coloured Shoes Day website by clicking here.

I won't be partaking of the whole odd shoe thing, I'm sorry, it really is too much for my poor head to cope with, but if you are good with all things unmatching, I say, 'Go for it!'. What I will do though, is make a concerted effort to appreciate all those little things that make us unique and being thankful for those differences.

Have a great Wednesday everyone and thank you so much for joining us.
